Overview

The Finance function at WTW serves both internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, client organizations, shareholders, financial institutions, vendors, and regulatory agencies worldwide. The Associate Director for Risk & Broking FP&A will report to the Head of Global FP&A for Risk & Broking and play a critical leadership role within the Global R&B Finance team.

This position is designed for a leader who will deliver strategic financial, operational, and analytical support to the R&B Finance and Business leadership teams. The Associate Director will own and influence key FP&A processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and provide actionable insights to enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the R&B Business Finance leadership team, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners and senior leadership on FP&A processes and reporting.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with global finance priorities.
  • Collaborate across a complex global organization, engaging with stakeholders in multiple regions and time zones.
  • Partner with colleagues at all levels of the organization, from senior executives to operational teams, to drive alignment and deliver results.

Financial Performance Management

  • Oversee and guide month-end and quarter-end close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to meet stakeholder objectives and deadlines.
  • Coordinate across Finance Business Partners, Controllership, and other functions to ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables.
  • Prepare executive-level financial materials for leadership meetings and the Board of Directors, including commentary on key trends and issues.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of monthly and quarterly P&Ls; deliver executive summaries and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Utilize BI tools to provide analysis on revenue, business performance, and profitability.
  • Own budget forecast and variance analysis for several global teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead process improvement priorities across R&B Finance teams. Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation across financial processes.
  • Train and mentor colleagues on new tools, systems, and processes to ensure adoption and maximize effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within FP&A and Business Finance functions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance.
  • Hands-on, self-starter with ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and influence senior stakeholders within a complex global organization.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including deep understanding of financial services or risk & broking industry.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with BI and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in a clear and credible manner.

Compensation 

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $100,000.00-$130,000.00 USD annually.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
