Description
Join us as a Bid Manager within our Outsourcing line of business based out of our offices in either London,Redhill, Leeds, Glasgow or Edinburh working hybrid.
This is a unique role to contribute to WTW’s Outsourcing GB business success and combine your bid management and sales operations experience and credentials.
Working at pace, you will oversee the delivery of our Bids function which includes pitch presentations and site visits to potential new clients as well as to our community of Trustees and Third-Party Evaluators. Internally, you’ll work closely with Business Development and Client Management and other senior stakeholders to make a real impact.
The role
- Oversee the delivery of bid management activities, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compelling submissions.
- Personally lead complex and strategically important bids, acting as the primary contact for opportunities.
- Embed best-practice bid management and pipeline management whilst engaging with our wider sales operations and design businesses.
- Maintain a knowledge base of content and seek to continuously improve this.
- Support the delivery of pitch presentations as well as site visits for new business.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met across all bid activity.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure bid strategies align with client needs and business priorities.
- Support wider sales activities including external events, award submissions and competitor/market research.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Significant experience managing the full lifecycle of bid activity, including pitches and site visits, ideally aligned to APMP principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Good understanding of pension administration services, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends is preferable
- Be able to work at pace, be highly organised, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and positive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality, client-focused outputs.
- APMP qualified
