Business Analyst

Summary of Role :

We are seeking a dynamic professional with proven experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master, specifically in Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning projects. The ideal candidate will drive requirements gathering, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure team collaboration and delivery excellence in cutting-edge AI initiatives. This dual role demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, and hands-on expertise in Agentic systems, supporting cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI solutions.

The Role:

• Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Agentic AI, Gen AI, and ML projects.

  • Translate complex AI business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and advanced AI/ML technical solutions.

  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements for AI-driven workflows.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and development teams to define and refine project scope.

  • Support testing efforts by validating requirements and assisting with UAT, especially for AI/ML models and agentic systems.

  • Ensure compliance with SOC1/SOC2, data privacy, and internal security standards.

• Scrum Master Responsibilities

  • Act as a servant leader and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives, etc.) for AI-focused teams.

  • Guide teams on Agile best practices and remove impediments, with a focus on AI/ML project delivery.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure adherence to Agile principles in AI development.

  • Enable communication and collaboration between business, technical, and AI research teams.

  • Track sprint progress and report key metrics to stakeholders, including AI model performance and delivery milestones.

  • Encourage team accountability and ensure timely delivery of sprint objectives in Agentic and Gen AI projects.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 10–11 years of experience in Business Analysis and Agile Scrum Management, with at least 2–3 years in Agentic AI, Gen AI, or ML projects.

• Strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts, Generative AI, and Machine Learning lifecycle.

• Hands-on experience in delivering projects involving agentic systems, autonomous agents, or generative models.

• Proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC, especially in AI/ML environments.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.

• Experience in stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML specialists.

• Ability to define requirements, create user stories, and manage backlogs for AI/ML projects.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) and/or Certified Business Analyst (CBAP) preferred.

• Experience with regulatory and ethical considerations in AI projects is a plus.
