Description
The Real Estate & Workplace Solutions (RE&WS) team delivers the high‑performing, safe, and efficient environments that empower WTW colleagues to do their best work. As the Local RE&WS Facilities Services Lead for Belgium, you will oversee an integrated range of workplace programs that enhance productivity, manage costs, mitigate risk, and strengthen our employer brand. Your scope covers the entire workplace experience—from office environment and maintenance to reception, meeting support, food services, print and mail operations, office equipment, health & safety, security, business continuity, and records management.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in facilities management, bringing in-depth knowledge of site maintenance, physical security, health & safety, space planning, environmental sustainability, business continuity, records management, and other key workplace priorities;
- Lead and maintain a comprehensive Occupational Health & Safety program, ensuring effective management of local risks and hazards;
- Support the development, implementation of standard operating procedures, tools, and processes to drive operational excellence across the organization;
- Partner closely with local business leaders and key stakeholders to ensure Facilities Services are fully aligned with business needs, fostering strong, trusted, and collaborative relationships across the regional leadership landscape;
- Manage and support change management initiatives effectively, minimizing business disruption while ensuring successful adoption and realization of intended outcomes;
- Act as an integral member of the Regional RE&WS – Facilities Services team, contributing to and advancing broader WTW initiatives.
Qualifications
The requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master´s degree is preferred, supported by solid experience and proven expertise in facilities management and office support, ideally gained in a client‑focused professional services environment;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficient English, Dutch and French, enabling clear collaboration across teams and stakeholders;
- A proven ability to act as a positive change agent, adapting effectively to evolving business needs and operational requirements;
- Willingness to occasional travel for office visits, meetings, team initiatives, or project‑related activities;
- A Prevention Advisor Level 3 certificate is required, or the willingness to obtain the certification;
- A solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations related to facilities operations in Belgium.
