Job Summary 

To provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to brokers and client servicing teams throughout the insurance placement lifecycle. This role ensures accurate data management, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely execution of client service activities, while maintaining strong collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  •  Initiate the Pre-Renewal Process 120 days before renewal; prepare the renewal draft, set up the account in Broking Platform (BP), and save documentation in Data Management System.
  • Pre-load incumbent markets, review contracts, and prepare for Internal Strategy Meetings with the onshore team to align on placement approach.
  •  Review Client Demands and Needs documentation, identify material changes, and update the Market Reform Contract (MRC); ensure all records are saved in Data Management System.
  •  Prepare Placing Schematics, initiate  Renewals Scorecard , and raise Sanctions or Know Your System requests as required.
  •  Perform License Checks for new business to confirm regulatory authorization in relevant regions.
  • Prepare Quote Templates, raise Second Pair of Eye Check Requests, and update the Broking Platform Fair Market Appraisal  upon quote receipt and cover binding.
  •  Review insurer quotes to confirm contract certainty, correct entities, and client requirements; update Brokerage Reports and Processing Spreadsheets accordingly.
  •  Chase brokers for Cover Bound Confirmation and update the Renewal Tracker, triggering the Confirmation of Cover task for the team.
  •   Tag contracts in the Broking Platform, and obtain Broker Sign-offs post client confirmation.
  •  Review invoices received from the Billing Team; highlight discrepancies and coordinate corrections before client release.
  •  Respond to Accounts and Settlement  Queries and support resolution of technical or process issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Daily Huddles, Team Meetings, and maintain proactive coordination with onshore and offshore stakeholders.
  •  Perform Sanctions Refresh every 30 days, manage Client/Market Setup in Eclipse, and ensure accurate Notice of Cancellation Reviews, Tax Schedules and task completion.
  •  Ensure all expiring, renewal, and email correspondence is accurately documented and archived in Data Management System for audit readiness and process traceability.

     

Key Competencies:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance and underwriting in order to deal effectively with client needs.
  • Strong knowledge of either various lines of liabilities or commercial property placements 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients, insurers and UK counterparts, maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, representing the business unit and the wider Willis Towers Watson Group with a high level of credibility.
  • Excellent client focus with proven experience of delivering high levels of direct client service.
  • Good understanding of the processes that support the operating model and strategy for the business unit and Willis Towers Watson overall.
  • Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery.
  • Intermediate level of IT systems (Microsoft office) as well as intermediate knowledge of data analysis

 

Key Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder handling and communication skills
  • Ability to manage end-to-end work independently
  • Proven experience working with Standard operating System, checklists, trackers and quality frameworks
  • (Preferred) Experience in insurance broking, claims, policy servicing, or global shared services, with exposure to policy documents, data validation, endorsements or billing-related tasks.

 

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree required. Preferred Commerce or Insurance background
