Your primary role is to lead the RFP process for any business-approved opportunities for WTW’s Investments businesses. You will coordinate with various teams and manage the timeline for the entire RFP process through submission, ensuring appropriate strategies are used to accurately meet the objectives of the bid.

The Role

  • Review RFP in its entirety and take ownership for developing project plan and coordinate/track proposal-related activities to ensure all deadlines are met in line with client requirements
  • Fill in standard/boilerplate responses.  Identify responses that will need customization by the pursuit team 
  • Assist in data requests as needed by the team
  • Assist in identifying resources to support the proposal
  • Develop information and company generic content in a way that is relevant to a particular proposal
  • Review proposal for consistency and compliance with RFP
  • Schedule necessary review(s) of the proposal document and finalize content with the sales lead, compliance review and editorial review
  • Support ongoing work to maintain library of proposal boilerplate responses
  • Promote best practices associated with proposal/bid management
  • Provide input to post-bid debriefs and contribute ideas as part of ongoing initiatives to improve bid processes and/or the quality of submissions
  • Assist with the development of Finals presentations, includes coordinating the pursuit team, and creating PowerPoint Slides when standard slides are not sufficient

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or other related field
  • Minimum 5-year experience in a bid/proposal management role
  • Leadership and presentation skills – ability to influence and gain the commitment of a cross-functional bid team in order to successfully carry out a winning submission
  • Working knowledge of web-based sales and RFP response technology preferred
  • Ability to collaborate and work across all levels of the organization, work in teams, leverage the resources of other related groups to accomplish common objectives, and work on virtual teams across geographies
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change
  • Experience facilitating meetings and discussions in person and online, ensuring that all viewpoints, ideas, and problems are addressed
  • Experience preparing and presenting information to small and large audiences and responding to questions from stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong writing and editing skills required
  • Excellent project management skills required along with a proactive sense of ownership
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines is a must
  • Good command of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 

Compensation and Benefits 

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 USD per year.

The role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
