Description
Senior Risk Control Consultant
The role will assist Willis Towers Watson clients by providing effective, innovative, and best practice risk control solutions to reduce losses and improve risk profile for insurance industry. You will provide advice to clients to assist them in complying with national and local safety requirements such as OSHA and other codes. Areas of expertise include construction and general industry safety management strategies –injury prevention programs, Total Cost of Risk Reduction Strategies, insurance carrier management, training, and others.

The Role
- Possess sound technical knowledge of the casualty risk control industry – provides expert advice to our clients
- Possess excellent communication skills – must be able to communicate advice effectively and confidently when participating in sales opportunities
- Relationship Management - effectively manage client and internal customer relationships
- A self-starter and innovator – proactively provide creative solutions to unique client issues
- General Casualty Risk Control background is preferred
- Capable of managing people
- Be capable of travel to client sites and workplaces
- Possess strong Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc)
Qualifications
The Requirements
- 4 year college degree is a must, preferably in Health and Safety Management. Additional level(s) of education are a plus
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a Risk Control related position
- Professional designation (CSP, CIH, PE, ARM) highly preferred
- Knowledge of Risk Control processes and procedures
- Understand medical case management and cost containment programs
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures and processes involving insurance
- Capable of analyzing data and providing concise conclusions
- Skilled at communicating orally and in writing
- Consistently displays consultative approach to problem solving
- Able to communicate technical information orally and in writing
- Able obtain relevant technical information to support decision making or promote risk improvement programs
- Able to work independently
- Understand company products, services, global network, and industry practices.
