    Description

    This role will be an integral part of a global team that will deliver technical solutions in a quality and efficient manner to clients around the world. The successful candidate will be able to develop full stack components and features as part of our Agile software development team to develop and maintain software products that meet the needs of our global client base, utilizing industry standard best practices and modern software engineering techniques.

    The Role

    • Experienced in full development lifecycle and be able to deliver to deadlines producing quality deliverables on time as part of a team.
    • Experienced in software architecture and good design practice creating scalable, maintainable, extensible, and testable software without over-engineering.
    • Experience in the breadth of software engineering activities including analysis, design, TDD, installation and deployment.
    • Experienced in Agile Scrum would be an advantage.
    • Be a quick learner with a proactive approach to problem solving and able to use own initiative to deal with ambiguity.
    • Have a good appreciation and interest of current and emerging technologies along with their benefits/limitations.
    • Be numerate, as many of the problems they will be dealing with will be mathematically based.
    • Have a working knowledge of using TFS/Azure DevOps, source control and portal features through Visual Studio.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Design, code, test, and debug new product enhancements
    • Deliver maintainable and reusable solutions that follow cyber security standards and application performance benchmarks
    • Embrace, implement, and evangelize test automation as part of the fabric of the team
    • Conduct code reviews for peers 
    • Incorporate an agile mindset as it applies to software development, team collaboration and open communication

    Qualifications

    The Requirement

    • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related software development experience and applied knowledge using Agile Scrum software development life cycle, demonstrated understanding and implementation of software design principles such as SOLID, DI/IoC, Continuous Integration
    • Experience working with the full Microsoft technology stack, including .NET/C# (.NET framework or .NET core) SQL Server, ASP.NET, MVC and Web API, JSON/RESTful experience, Object Relation Mapping (ORM) such as Entity Framework or nHibernate, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 web Software as a Service (SaaS), multi-tenancy application development, SQL Server development experience, GIT/TFS, confluence and JIRA
    • Proactive: Willingness to seek out information and solutions that are pertinent to their responsibilities and key to their delivery and has team player attitude with a focus on the success of the team is a MUST and has strong work ethic
    • Experience with front-end technologies and approaches: Single Page Applications (SPA), Angular, Bootstrap, Typescript
    • Experience developing applications requiring internationalization and localization for global markets
    • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX 
    • Knowledge in Azure and Mobile Application (Android/IOS) development is a plus
