    Description

    The Role

     

    A key role in WTW’s US Specie business, one of the most long-established and respected Specie teams in the market. Offering personal growth and promotion opportunity alongside the expansion and development of the team. We bring a fresh perspective, deep sector knowledge and expertise aimed at outperforming market forces, together with an unwavering commitment to client-focused service. This will be a rewarding and client focused role within our US Specie Team. The candidate will have exposure and responsibility across all sectors of the private and commercial art world and will be required to handle Museums, Dealers, Shippers and Packers, Auction Houses and Private Collections. Focusing on client servicing and retention. 

     

    The candidate will have strong commercial acumen for placing and servicing business, as well as, contributing to helping grow the Fine Art book. The values of Client Focus, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork and Respect – critical.

     

     

    Performance Objectives:

     

    Client Portfolio Management, Retention and Growth

     

    • Establish a strong understanding of our Fine Art business and capabilities, to maximize client value and deliver the advantages of our proposition
    • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled
    • Understand changes in client circumstances to ensure that the cover provided continues to match their needs
    • Where a client’s needs cross over into other specialties, liaise with other WTW divisions to ensure a consistent approach and experience
    • Draw on expertize within specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as required
    • Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required
    • Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet clients’ needs and deliver profitable business growth
    • Ensure we’re maximizing our value to clients, based on a close understanding of client need and best interest
    • In conjunction with the team, to assist with the development and advancement of our active pipeline of prospects
    • Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities; actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalize on account penetration and cross selling opportunities
    • Encourage new business referrals and recommendations from existing clients

     

    Placement Management

     

    • Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market 
    • Check policies, market presentations and client documentation as appropriate
    • Design program and pricing structures to best meet the client’s needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition
    • Deliver optimization of revenue from new and existing clients using the full range of appropriate placement channels, facilities and markets for the specific client segment of the business
    • Always operate within the business procedures and requirements
    • Communicate effectively with clients, associates, markets and others where necessary to maximize service delivery level

    Qualifications

     

    The Requirements

     

    • College degree 
    • More than 10 years insurance broking and/or underwriting experience
    • Insurance broker’s P&C license required
    • ARM and/or CPCU is a plus
    • Foreign language translation skills is a plus
    • Ability to travel to visit clients, nationwide, and attend museum and art world related conferences
    • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with a track record of success working against tight deadlines
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others 
    • Must demonstrate attention to detail
    • Ability to conduct research
    • Must demonstrate core competency of Willis Towers Watson Values & Vision

    This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until a sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.

    Compensation and Benefits
    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    Compensation
    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $175,000 - $225,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
