Senior UI/UX Designer – Digital Marketing (Night Shift)

The Role

• You'll create compelling web pages and interfaces, built on the foundation of our digital design system
• You'll guide projects through the entire design process, from initial briefs through design and creating final deliverables for implementation within our CMS
• You'll be an expert in our digital design system, understanding its principles and implementing it effortlessly
• You’ll work to evolve our digital design system within new environments
• You'll collaborate with marketing, digital and sales colleagues to understand their needs and consult on the best ways to bring design concepts to life
• You'll keep up to date on the latest trends in interface design, UX design, accessibility and help us continually improve our digital offerings

The Requirements

• A Bachelors degree, certificate, or equivalent practical experience in design or a related field
• 3-10 years of relevant work in a digital design firm, ad agency, creative firm or within a corporate digital team
• Expertise in design and prototyping software, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office
• An impressive portfolio showcasing your design work with an emphasis on digital products, web or mobile platforms, responsive design; portfolio should showcase work completed in Figma and should demonstrate command of Figma prototyping and Figma component design
• Excellent design skills, especially layout, typography and color. Experience using and maintaining digital design systems and pattern libraries. Ability to understand user goals and UX patterns and translate them into highly usable and visually appealing experiences. Strong working knowledge of digital accessibility and inclusive design, especially WCAG 2.2 AA standards
• Have a strong command of the English language both spoken and written
• Passion about user-centered design and digital design systems
• A growth mindset; constantly looking for ways to grow skills, improve our processes and methods, and understand the businesses we operate in
• High attention to detail, in both the work and the workflow
• Good communication skills and the ability to break down problems and present goals and ideas clearly and concisely
• The ability to juggle multiple projects, work quickly and meet deadlines
