Actuarial Internship, Hong Kong (H2 2025)

WTW actuarial internship is a perfect opportunity for you to understand what you could expect from an actuarial consulting career. Working will be on a full-time basis or part-time basis, depending on your availability.

The Business

Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) provides both consulting and technology services to insurance and reinsurance companies in HK and across the world. The Intern will be expected to provide support in all areas of life insurance consulting work under the guidance by seniors. As an Actuarial Intern, you are expected to carry out research, data cleaning, cashflow projection and automation modelling, analyze results, and prepare client reports for some of the following project types: Merger and Acquisition transaction, Business Planning, Market Entry, Appointed Actuary services, Regular Valuation, Product pricing, Model implementation, IFRS17 and Embedded value review

The Requirements
 

• Pursuing an undergraduate bachelor’s degree in actuarial science 
• Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player;
• Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude;
• Attention to details;
• Well-organized, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines;
• Strong computer software / programming skills;
• Strong Chinese and English communications skills.
