    The Role

    • Ensure that all new and renewal business, mid-term amendments, and general enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
    • Oversee the accurate and punctual record-keeping of physical and electronic filing.
    • Undertake ad hoc tasks in relation to the Underwriting Operations function as directed by the Head of Underwriting.
    • Support a book of business by performing day-to-day client service tasks.
    • Take responsibility for the creation and design of renewal strategy documents for client presentations.
    • Provide support for new business opportunities, including expanding relationships with current clients, participating in the preparation and response for Requests for Proposals, and general support.
    • Regularly utilize WTW tools and resources.
    • Prepare draft proposals, submissions, and quotes.
    • Follow up with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding the status of quotes and provide any additional information or rates as necessary.
    • Maintain business relationships with producers and underwriters.
    • Deliver reliable, high-quality, and timely reports and documents.
    • Keep up with changes in the compliance function and placement process, and report where necessary.
    • Follow and adhere to all company and compliance procedures, rules, and regulations.

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience with Client Services Operations in the Broking or insurance industry. A qualification in insurance would be an added advantage 
    • High performing team player with a proven track record for providing outstanding client service
    • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written
    • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision
    • Ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines 
    • Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles & provide explanation to clients
    • High performing team player with a proven track record for providing outstanding client service
