    Business 

    The Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) division focuses on the development and provision of professional insurance, reinsurance, risk management, and consulting services for businesses, institutions, and (semi-)public organizations.     Principal Accountabilities

    • Working with the CRB Operations and CRB Netherlands leadership team to ensure that business colleagues are working to WTW operational requirements, and assisting in the implementation of new working procedures and improvements where necessary;
    • Manage the whole operational Excellence from Sales, Broking and Claims;
    • Working with the CRB Operations teams to share and deliver best practice; 
    • Providing operational direction, advice, guidance and best practice to the business; 
    • Optimize processes (including Service Hub tasks) and opportunities for possible re-allocation (to Lisbon/Mumbai). 

    Geographic Scope of Role

    • Based in Netherlands and aligned to geographic scope of business unit.

    Conduct Risk

    • A good understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on operational processes and procedures;
    • Working with the Compliance, Risk, and other functional teams to ensure that operational processes and procedures put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way they do business;
    • Optimized service for our clients (onboarding), delivery policy and invoice within 3 months. 

    Core Leadership Responsibilities 

    • Support the overall operational governance and decision-making process for the Netherlands CRB business;
    • Build and manage relationships within peer group, both internally and externally; 
    • Work with internal and external sources to identify opportunities to share and exchange best practice;
    • Any other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility; 
    • Maintain relevant experience and qualifications required for the role;
    • Direct line management responsibility and day-to-day management of the policy and plan management team, ensuring appropriate workforce management is implemented and that any key person dependency risks are addressed.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Preferably educated to a degree level and with professional qualifications in Project Management or similar;
    • Knowledge of the Dutch insurance industry (VNAB/e-ABS, Sanction Platform, Insurers);
    • Excellent management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering excellent levels of client service through a large scale, matrixed operational function; 
    • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills; 
    • High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy, operating environment and business objectives; 
    • An understanding of core business improvement principles and techniques; 
    • Strong skills in problem solving;
    • An in-depth knowledge of operational best practice and experience of implementing processes, procedures and standards in an operational role;
    • Proven experience of change management and delivering major change initiatives into an operational function;
    • Data driven, use/create dashboards for KPI (internally) client onboarding/experience (externally).
