Some careers evolve side by side. For more than 13 years, Danielle Fisher and Tara Wozniak have worked together in the Early Careers Recruitment team in the United States, helping shape opportunities for future talent while building careers that have each spanned more than two decades with the company.
Their stories are different in many ways. Danielle joined WTW inspired by the opportunity to contribute to recruitment at scale. Tara’s path began through a temporary staffing agency before evolving into a full-time role and eventually into Early Careers recruitment. What connects them is a shared commitment to adaptability and standing by the people around them.
Today, both reflect on careers filled with learning, strong relationships and moments that shaped their professional journeys and the team around them.
Building careers through opportunity and learning
For Danielle, one of the biggest reasons she has stayed with WTW for 22 years is the constant opportunity to progress and keep learning.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been able to take on new challenges, continue developing professionally and most importantly work alongside talented colleagues who make the experience rewarding and meaningful.”
She began her journey in an entry-level position and steadily progressed into a Director role, expanding her leadership responsibilities along the way.
Looking back, one of her proudest moments is realizing how far her career has come: “When I accepted this role 22 years ago, I never imagined it would lead me to where I am today.”
For Tara, growth also came through being open to new possibilities. After beginning in the Scheduling Center in Cleveland, her role expanded as the team evolved. Over time, she moved into Early Careers recruitment and eventually became a Senior Recruiter supporting multiple lines of business.
She credits much of her development to people who recognized her potential early on: “Sometimes the best career moves come from people who see potential in you before you fully see it in yourself.”
That mindset continues to guide the advice she shares with others considering a future here at WTW: stay adaptable, stay curious and remain open to opportunities that may not have originally been part of the plan.
Championing future talent
Both Danielle and Tara are passionate about helping students and early career professionals take their first steps into the workforce.
For Tara, interacting with students continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her role: “I continue to be impressed year after year by the level of talent coming through.”
Danielle feels equally inspired by the team around her and the impact they create together: “Our team is an amazing group of hardworking, dedicated team players who are passionate about creating opportunities and supporting future talent.”
Beyond the work itself, both Danielle and Tara highlight the relationships they have built as one of the most valuable parts of their careers at WTW.
After more than two decades with the company and 13 years working side by side, their stories reflect how careers can evolve through trust, teamwork and a willingness to keep evolving.
Together, Danielle and Tara continue helping shape the future of Early Careers recruitment while proving that long-term progression is built not only through opportunity, but also through the people you grow alongside.
