Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with local GAAPs in all the entities WTW has in Spain. This role requires a good understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with local GAAPs.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Collaborate developing and implementing procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or proved experience in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Good knowledge of local GAAPs and tax regulations.
• Advanced level in English.
• Proficient in MS-Excel and Database (mandatory).
• Proficiency in accounting software – Oracle is preferred.
