Summary:
The Claims Operations Manager role sits within WTW’s Claims Operations function and is responsible for leading a team delivering high-quality, compliant, and timely claims services to strategic Financial Lines (FinEx) clients. Based in Ipswich, this hybrid role focuses on operational excellence, people leadership, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. The role provides exposure to global stakeholders, including London and Mumbai, and plays a key role in driving consistency, performance, and best practice across the claims community.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Claims Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team of claims professionals playing a key role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality claims service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day operations, performance, and development of your team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement through Operational Excellence (OpEx) principles.
- Monitor performance against SLAs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support strategic initiatives and business change programmes across Claims Operations.

- Preferably educated to degree level and with professional qualifications
- Relevant industry/management experience
Experience:
- Strong technical claims knowledge
- Proven leadership in operational or client-facing roles.
Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage change and drive process improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex tasks simultaneously.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office, and based in the Ipswich office.
