    The Role

    Willis Towers Watson has developed market leading analytical technology to empower clients to create their own risk narrative and strategically push a risk agenda which leads to significant cost savings, improved efficiency, and greater influence within their organizations. Historically analytics were given in a static report format, this evolutionary software platform (RiskIQ) is real time and has created an expanded remit for Risk Management, allowing for engagement across the business and into functions in treasury, Information security, sustainability, and enterprise risk management. This position will be responsible for the articulation of this innovative value proposition and the sale of this software as a service to corporate buyers. WTW’s newest deliverable is easy to use but sophisticated and scalable. WTW is the leader in the risk analytics space. Brokers and consultants use these models to advise clients, but now we have started licensing software directly to client over the last two years.

    The role is responsible for the specific sale of a software to WTW’s clients. This will include working with our brokerage network and generating new sales leads. You will work hand in hand with the analytics team to develop expertise on how the models work, what their value proposition, and engage clients in live demos across the broad risk software ecosystem. You will also partner with the Risk and Analytics sales team (which sells the broader consultative proposition).

    Risk software licensing to corporate risk clients is a new endeavor which has never been attempted before. WTW is looking for an individual with the technical expertise the understand and promote the analytical story and engage appropriately with the software. The role also requires a driven individual with sales experience and a can-do attitude which can be a relentless ambassador of the software empowerment mantra. The role will be measured by sales of the RiskIQ software and the broader commercial success of the RiskIQ platform.

    The Responsibilities

    Objective: Sales of RiskIQ software to non-broking and broking clients

    • Deliver the value proposition and a call to action so our clients find the need to do risk a different way and operationalize our tools.
    • Lead client presentations and proposals; providing thought leadership on business related use/application of the tools. Maintain knowledge of market trends and changes.
    • Responsible for working in collaboration with the Core Analytics team, the R&A Client Development team as well as the broader WTW sales apparatus.
    • Foster client relationships and ensure the value proposition holds with our customers. This will require continuous client engagement and interaction with the Cora Analytics model development team.
    • As required, lead on the execution of client contracting for Risk IQ 
    • Sell and engage various segments at our corporate clients (Risk Management, Treasury, Enterprise Risk Management, Cyber Security, Investor Relations, Audit Committees, Board of Directors)
    • Partner with the broader team to build and execute on the RiskIQ commercial strategy 
    • Work closely with Marketing to provide feedback on effectiveness and support how the activities can be refined

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Software sales experience
    • Experience within the risk management or insurance sector 
    • Understand analytical processes and financial indicators and parameters.
    • Ability to makes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure; able to make a quick decision
    • But always in collaboration with the Client Services Teams
    • Skilled in assigning responsibility for tasks and decisions; setting clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work. Maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear communicator.
    • Working without close supervision, defining direction and complying with Group strategy & objectives.
    • Knowledge of how current and evolving Technology differentiates our client value proposition, whilst maintaining an understanding of the end-to-end digital ecosystem with CRB.

    Compensation and Benefits (US)

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.

    Compensation
    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is 150,000 - 200,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
