The successful candidate will be joining a highly motivated team which manages a range of corporate clients.

Working closely with Account Managers the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating renewal and placement activities, and ensuring clients receive timely and accurate advice and service.

This role requires general insurance knowledge, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering value-driven outcomes for clients.

Willis will provide you with the opportunity to enhance your skills in broking and client service in addition to growing your technical knowledge in general insurance products.

 

 The Role

  • Assist Account Managers with the day to day servicing of a portfolio of clients, ensuring client enquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately prepare client documentation such as renewal questionnaires and reports, quote slips, placing slips, client manuals and invoice documents, including premium funding quotes.
  • Assist Account Managers through end-to-end renewal processes and insurance placements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients, and other key stakeholders (internal and external), professionally representing Willis.
  • Maintain comprehensive client data on Willis systems, facilities, and databases.
  • Liaise with Willis Claims to respond to client claims enquiries.
  • Contribute to team annual growth and new business targets, ensuring they are met.
  • Achieve and maintain compliance with relevant Australian regulations.
  • Undertake Continuous Professional Development ensuring minimum yearly CPD points are achieved.

Qualifications

The Requirements
 

  • 2 to 5 years' experience within insurance broking, underwriting, or risk advisory.
  • Working knowledge of corporate insurance products and placements.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • An innovative thinker with the ability to collaborate and work in a team.
  • You hold, or are prepared to undertake, ASIC’s RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualification.
  • A focus on excellence and the ability to produce accurate work.
