Description

Join our growing Facultative Reinsurance Client Servicing team in Ipswich, working closely with brokers and sales colleagues in London, our global network, international clients and our operational team in Mumbai. The team provides bespoke facultative reinsurance solutions to a diverse range of overseas insurers, local insurers and Lloyd’s Syndicates, supporting clients throughout the full reinsurance lifecycle.

The Role:

  • Manage and develop strong relationships with international clients, providing high-quality service throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Brokers and Client Relationship Managers to understand client needs and support the delivery of tailored reinsurance solutions.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end placement process with London brokers, clients, global offices and the Mumbai Placing & Billing team.
  • Prepare and issue accurate renewal, placement, policy and mid-term documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the Mumbai team on MRCs, invoices, Evidence of Covers and documentation queries.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and client queries, resolving issues efficiently and escalating where appropriate.
  • Support new business requests and ensure accurate maintenance of placement files and relevant systems.
  • Complete required KYC, sanctions, third-party approval and market security checks in line with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Monitor service levels and KPIs while ensuring compliance with WTW policies, procedures and FCA requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and effective operational governance across the Business Unit.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in client servicing within insurance or (re)insurance, ideally within a facultative reinsurance environment.
  • Good knowledge of the (re)insurance market and ability to understand and address client and technical requirements.
  • Strong track record of delivering high-quality client service and building relationships with clients, colleagues and (re)insurers.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across international and multi-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with established processes, systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and MS Office; experience with Power BI, PQ/RIC and broking systems is desirable.
  • ACII qualified or working towards ACII is preferred.
  • Ability to work with integrity and openness while maintaining compliance with FCA and WTW requirements.
