Description
Role Overview:
The Advisor/Sr. Advisor will be responsible for managing operational processes related to Insurance products that provide coverage for financial risks associated with loans or credit facilities. This role involves creating and maintaining Insurance Management (IM) templates, capturing critical details of insured parties, borrowers, and insurers, and performing calculations for liability limits, premiums, and loan values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update templates with accurate details of Insured, Borrower, and Insurer.
- Capture and validate loan-related data, including drawn and undrawn amounts.
- Calculate Maximum Aggregate Limit of Liability and ensure compliance with policy terms.
- Maintain and update the Schedule Tab with loan values, actual limits, and premium details.
- Compute estimated and actual premiums payable to the insurer for the entire policy period.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data across all six tabs of the IM template.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for data verification and policy issuance.
- Support audit and reporting requirements related to insurance operations.
Qualifications
Basic Skills & Competencies:
- Insurance Industry Knowledge: Understanding of financial risk coverage, credit facilities, and liability limits.
- Operational Expertise: Ability to manage templates, schedules, and policy documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and calculation skills for premium and liability computations.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and validation.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional interaction with stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Power & Data Analysis Tools
- and insurance management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or Insurance-related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations or financial solutions.
- Familiarity with loan structures, credit facilities, and insurance schedules.
