Description
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Project Manager with experience coordinating consulting projects and supporting client engagements within the security risk, crisis management, and operational resilience sectors. The successful candidate will apply project management disciplines to support business growth, coordinate project delivery, manage financial performance, and ensure the successful outcomes of services to our global client base.
The Role:
The Project Manager will support the growth and delivery of security risk and operational resilience consulting services to global clients. The role combines project management, client engagement, commercial coordination, delivery assurance, and operational improvement responsibilities within a leading insurance and professional services firm.
Working closely with internal teams, consultants, brokers, account teams, and clients, the successful candidate will support opportunity development, coordinate project delivery, maintain governance and quality standards, manage project financials, and contribute to the continued growth and development of the Risk Advisory practice.
- Support consultancy sales through CRM management, opportunity tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate project planning, delivery, governance, and quality assurance.
- Prepare proposals, statements of work, and commercial documentation.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, revenue tracking, utilisation, and reporting.
- Strengthen PMO processes, including governance, resource planning, risk management, and reporting.
- Act as a key contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Maintain opportunity pipelines and support business forecasting.
- Collaborate across teams to develop new Risk Advisory services.
- Coordinate client meetings, workshops, and project activities.
- Support marketing initiatives, thought leadership, webinars, and market insights.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and standards.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Experience managing consulting projects; security risk, resilience, crisis management, or intelligence experience is preferred.
- Strong project management skills covering planning, governance, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Experience supporting business development, proposal preparation, and project scoping.
- Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project financial performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and global stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project reporting tools.
- Experience in insurance-related security, crisis response, travel risk, or resilience services is desirable.
- PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
