The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Director, Regional Sales to join our Health & Benefits (H&B) team in APAC. This newly created position is designed to support the sustained growth of our regional business and help us accelerate success in large, complex, multi-market opportunities, across APAC.
This senior position  will play a key role in originating and converting strategic opportunities across APAC, working closely with country leaders, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams. In addition to leading high-value pursuits, the role will contribute to pipeline development, commercial strategy, and regional initiatives.

Performance Objectives:
•    CRM Analytical & reporting support to help develop target lists for specific campaigns
•    Supporting the planning, launch, running and tracking of key business development campaigns
•    Day to day tracking and reporting of Individual country targets and pipeline
•    liaison with other Sales & Client management functions and Teams to support growth
•    Lead or co-lead strategic regional sales pursuits, focusing on large, complex, multi-country clients.
•    Develop commercial positioning for RFP responses, proactive pursuits, and key pitch opportunities.
•    Act as a primary regional liaison for opportunities in selected markets.
•    Collaborate with local Sales, Consulting, and cross-line-of-business teams to align strategies and drive growth.
•    Support commercialization and regional rollouts of new products, solutions, and campaigns.
•    Contribute to pipeline tracking, sales reporting, and performance analysis.
•    Mentor and guide junior team members involved in regional pursuits.
•    Deliver against a regional sales target of USD 1 million per annum (comprising USD 500k personal and USD 500k participation target).
•    Maintain a minimum pipeline-to-target ratio of 3x.
•    Help develop and maintain and update sales materials

 

Qualifications

The Requirements


•    Proven experience successfully enterprise level sales and achieving budget
•    Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
•    strong client service orientation
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate
•    Ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
•    Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment
•    Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
•    Self-starter; interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one’s comfort zone
•    Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one’s work fits into the broader landscape
•    Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
•    Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint & Excel
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    More than 5 years in a relevant role required
•    Fluency in English, Mandarin required – Japanese a bonus
