The Business
At WTW, we provide data-driven, insight-led solutions in the areas of people, risk and capital.
The Research and Innovation Center (RIC) serves as a WTW center of excellence for developing research papers, synthesizing technical developments, and managing and implementing new data resources and tools.
Within RIC, the Benefits Data Source (BDS) team works directly with consultants to design and deliver benefits benchmarking solutions to clients around the world. The team focuses on the following activities: (a) build/maintain the database infrastructure, including standardized tools and reports, (b) maintain the integrity of the data through data cleaning, analysis and reporting; (c) develop customized client reports and consult directly with clients in situations where BDS analytics are a major part of a consulting project.
The Role
• Actively participate in the collection, validation, and processing of benefits data, including reviewing client submissions for completeness and accuracy; preparing and sending queries; interpreting plan documents and client responses; and coordinating with stakeholders via email or phone.
• Contribute to qualitative comparative benefits analyses used in client facing reports
• Focus on Canada
• Usage of tools and systems developed by our company as well as Power BI
• Support the team in several activities to maintain our high-quality database
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to defined processes and quality standards
• We are offering a full-time position (40 hours a week plus lunch time)
• Flexible working style: hybrid
Qualifications
The Requirements
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (will be tested)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy and quality
• Well organized, with effective time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to perform in a structured environment with process driven workflows
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and seek guidance when appropriate
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Previous working experience is highly preferred
• Graduates or students from multiple various disciplines could fit the role: Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, among others.
