Description
As a Retail Insurance Broker, you will play a vital role in our organization by assisting clients in navigating the complexities of insurance products and selecting the most suitable coverage options. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging your knowledge of the insurance market and regulations to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific requirements and objectives of our clients.
The Role
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs through detailed consultations, understanding their risk exposures, financial circumstances, and coverage preferences.
- Product Recommendations: Analyze various insurance products from multiple carriers to identify suitable options that align with clients' requirements and budgetary constraints.
- Policy Management: Facilitate the entire insurance process, including policy issuance, renewal, amendments, and claims management, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to negotiate competitive rates, terms, and conditions on behalf of clients.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide informed advice and innovative solutions to clients.
- Compliance: Adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards governing the insurance industry, maintaining accuracy and integrity in all client transactions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare accurate documentation, reports, and correspondence related to client interactions, policy transactions, and insurance placements.
- Customer Service: Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively managing their insurance portfolios to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
The Requirements
- CII qualification
- Minimum of 15 years of insurance experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and regulations, particularly in property and casualty insurance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office applications.
