Description
The Role:
The Corporate Responsibility Lead Associate will work closely with the Corporate Responsibility team on all activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the company’s sustainability policies and programs.
- Develop, review and edit reports and communications for clarity, consistency and quality; ensure adherence with WTW brand and style standards, use WTW AI tools to create content for internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Maximize the use of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting and reporting tool and other tools like Science-Based Targets (SBT) dashboard and CDP for emissions tracking and supplier goals, implementing AI functionality to drive efficiencies.
- Support GHG emissions calculations, data collection, trainings, limited assurance and various regulatory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with travel, procurement, real estate and various internal teams to support renewable energy procurement and decarbonization efforts. Support the supplier engagement strategy to understand supplier SBTs, GHG emissions and encourage progress aligned with WTW’s environmental goals. Help manage supplier communication programs including training and engagement.
- Assist in the delivery of the Sustainability Report, SASB disclosures and preparation for CSRD, including E1 and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and coordinate the submission to raters including ISS, EcoVadis, Sustainalytics and CDP. Manage client engagement through these tools, as required.
- Enhance colleague engagement through managing environmental content on WTW’s learning and development site, intranet resources and internal programming (e.g., Earth Day).
Respond to client inquiries and internal inquiries via RFIs, RFPs, GHG emissions and supply chain questionnaires. Assist with maintaining a library of common Q&As.
Continue to develop technical knowledge and skills in digital tools and reporting (including AI), internal communication and change management, and external communication/public reporting.
Serve as an expert on sustainability by researching and keeping abreast of programs, frameworks, methodologies and reporting standards to support program improvement.

Qualifications
The Requirements
A successful candidate will have the following qualities.
Five-plus years of environmental reporting, corporate communication or corporate responsibility experience
Proven understanding of CR and environmental, people and community, and governance standards and guidelines, including, but not limited to, CSRD, SASB, GRI, CDP and TCFD.
Strong research skills — ability to locate, verify and synthesize information from diverse sources.
A fast learner with a “can do” and “figure it out” attitude.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross team, cross functionally and cross culturally.
Detail-oriented, organized and adaptable with solid business and financial acumen.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, self-manage and prioritize workload.
Can work flexibly — with colleagues in multiple locations and sometimes over extended hours, as required.
Demonstrates proactive problem-solving and initiative while efficiently navigating ambiguity, synthesizing direction from multiple stakeholders, and prioritizing actions in a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement.
Experience in AI and PowerBI a plus.
Good communicator with excellent all-around listening, writing, editorial and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and adhere to company policies, guidelines and brand standards.
Strong analytic and program/project management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $70,000.00-$85,000.00 USD annually.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
