Description
The Role:
- Design, implement, and leading activities Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for backend (.NET/C#) and frontend (Angular, PHP) applications—covering build, test, and release workflows.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, YAML, and ARM templates to provision consistent, repeatable Azure environments.
- Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security across dev, test, and production.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices, streamline software delivery, and reduce manual handoffs.
- Implement and enforce configuration management and version control best practices (Git) across codebases and pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, deployment, and environment issues; drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Automate SQL Server/MySQL database deployments and migrations; support performance optimization in delivery workflows.
- Apply security best practices and compliance policies within pipelines and infrastructure changes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the DevOps toolchain, templates, and processes; document and share best practices.
Requirements (Must‑haves)
- 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure Cloud..
- Strong scripting/automation skills in PowerShell and Bash for build, release, and operational tasks.
- 3+ years of experience as a developer on the Microsoft technology stack, especially .NET/C#, PHP, SQL Server, MySql
- Hands-on experience with Angular/PHP in build and deployment pipelines.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code expertise with Terraform, YAML, and ARM templates to provision Azure resources.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Git (Azure Repos/GitHub) and standard version‑control workflows.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Azure Container Registry) and/or serverless deployment models.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git (GitHub/Azure Repos)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with IaC tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform for Azure.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
