Description

Join WTW’s Investment team for a summer internship where you will be working alongside experienced investment professionals to analyze information, solve client problems, and communicate investment insights. You will work with supportive teams across investment research, portfolio management and client consulting, build practical analytical and presentation skills, and learn how institutional investors make portfolio decisions in a collaborative environment. No specific major is required. We welcome candidates who are curious about financial markets and interested in learning.

The Business

The Role
You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside consultants, researchers, portfolio managers, and other investment professionals on projects that support institutional investors. Through real client and research work, you will build practical experience, develop analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work you may help with:
- Research investment managers and strategies, organize findings, and help teams compare potential investment ideas.
- Analyze portfolio or performance information using spreadsheets and internal tools.
- Support teams in preparing reports and presentation materials for client meetings.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute questions, observations, and ideas
- As your knowledge develops, you will gain exposure to how investment advice is delivered and how client relationships are managed.
Learning and Development
Throughout the internship, you will receive training, mentoring and hands-on project experience designed to develop analytical, technical, and professional skills. You'll work with colleagues across the Investments business, gain exposure to different areas of investing, expand your network, and explore potential future career paths. Interns may also have opportunities to contribute to broader team initiatives and thought leadership projects.

This is an in-office or hybrid role, with the expectation of being present in the office at least three days each week. The position placement will be in one of the following offices: Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY.
Qualifications
Eligibility and work arrangements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the confirmed graduation window. No specific major is required. (a minimum GPA of 3.0)
- Accepting applications from candidates that graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree between December 2027 through June 2028.
- This is a hybrid position that requires you to be local and able to work from one of the listed offices at least three days per week.

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation: The hourly rate being offered for this role is $26-$28.75/hr USD. This role is also eligible for over-time.
