In this pivotal leadership role, you will take ownership of performance across our Financial and Executive Risks (FINEX) team - driving growth, leading a high-performing broking team, and strengthening our position as a market leader.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact—shaping strategy, building client relationships, and delivering innovative risk solutions to some of the region’s most complex organisations.

The Role

  • Define and execute strategy to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership 
  • Own commercial performance, delivering on revenue, retention, and margin targets 
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation 
  • Manage key client relationships and complex accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term retention 
  • Identify growth opportunities, expanding market presence and deepening client partnerships 
  • Deliver innovative FINEX solutions across a broad range of financial lines products 
  • Strengthen insurer relationships, influencing market outcomes and negotiations 
  • Collaborate across specialties (including Cyber and Corporate Risk & Broking) to deliver integrated solutions 
  • Act as a market leader and ambassador, enhancing brand presence through industry engagement 
  • Monitor market trends and emerging risks to inform strategy and innovation

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Financial Lines insurance (typically 15+ years)
  • A proven track record in client delivery and business growth
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Experience leading and developing teams, both directly and in matrix environments
  • Deep understanding of complex placements, broking, and insurance markets
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, insurers, and stakeholders
  • A solutions-focused mindset with a drive to achieve results and lead change
  • Relevant licences and regulatory requirements will be required.
