The Role

The Health & Benefits (H&B) Sales Enablement Leader, North American (NA) is a key member of the North America Leadership Team (NALT). The role will balance the development and execution of the global sales strategy as it relates to NA with the expansion of H&B market share across all client segments and meeting annual NA growth targets. The NA Sales Enablement Leader will oversee our NA sales function. In partnership with the Global Strategy & Solutions Leader, the NA Sales Enablement Leader will review market needs to understand and recommend opportunities for growth; and define, prioritize and implement pursuit strategies accordingly.

The role will report to the Health & Benefits North America Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the NA sales strategy to expand H&B market share across all client segments and meet annual growth targets

  • Drive execution of our NA sales strategy to acquire new clients and retain/expand current clients 

  • Lead our NA sales function comprised of Regional Large Market and Mid-Market Growth Leaders, Sales Operations and Lead Generation to define and implement intentional, targeted, and measurable go to market strategies 

  • Engage in significant sales pursuits and opportunities and lead targeted sales pursuits 

  • Partner with Region Leaders to drive consistent growth planning, execution, and monitoring of results at the NA, regional and local level 

  • Track, analyze and present sales metrics to NA leadership at established cadence 
  • Define and drive alignment with optimal sales process that is globally consistent, but NA appropriate 

  • Identify and disseminate best practices in sales process, storytelling and pipeline development

  • With Commercialization Leader, NA, develop and champion a consistent and segment relevant value propositions for H&B services in the pursuit of new business

  • Help facilitate the ongoing collection of H&B sellers’ client experiences and feedback. 
  • Partner Large Market and Mid-Market Specialties Leaders to leverage WTW IC and research to identify growth opportunities and curate a value proposition that delivers a POV
  • Collaborate with Geography and other lines of business to drive smart connections and cross-selling opportunities

  • Partner with NALT and Office Business Leaders (OBLs) to recruit, manage pipeline and support the sales community

  • Partner with Talent Leaders on sales-focused learning and development initiatives and programs to develop and mentor sales talent 
  • Develop and oversee the NA Prospect Center of Excellence (COE) supporting top sales opportunities
  • Manage NA sales operation function, comprised of Regional Sales Operations and (indirectly) our H&B leader network to drive and track sales activities including pipeline reporting and sources of revenue growth
  • Develop, launch, and measure effectiveness of NA sales campaigns to support growth priorities
  • Lead planning for NA sales meetings 
  • Reports to the Health & Benefits North America Leader

Requirements

  • Strong sales mindset and commercial orientation with the ability to build and manage effective teams, work collaboratively, bring all of H&B together, and influence colleagues at all levels of the company 

  • In-depth knowledge of the market, H&B NA capabilities, and broader WTW offerings 

  • Results-oriented with ability to effectively manage KPIs 

  • Comfortable with change and uncertainty and able to work through ambiguity

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills

Compensation and Benefits 

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $250,000-$ 350,000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
