As a Healthcare Financial/Actuarial IC Director you will be a key member of the Financial Actuarial & Analytics (FAA) Community of Expertise.  You will lead a portfolio of actuarial models and significantly contribute to complex business strategies across different business pillars. 

A significant component of the job is intellectual capital development. This position is responsible for providing actuarial expertise contributing to business growth. The ideal candidate will have deep actuarial modelling expertise. You will be a subject matter expert collaborating with cross-functional leaders across the entire value stream on the development and execution of the product vision, strategy, development roadmap, value proposition, and product enhancements. Your responsibilities may also include the support of technology related requirements and initiatives. This position manages actuarial responsibilities and ensures project completion within established timelines and quality standards. Develops and mentors more junior team members, design and implement a leverageable and scalable process for tool maintenance and updates. Contributes to the development of new approaches and tools. 

The Role

•    Design and implement scalable, efficient, and automated data pipelines and modeling solution
•    Support and drive broader initiatives related to the tool modernization strategy
•    Support the development of new solutions
•    Expands knowledge of varying client complexity by working across different client profiles 
•    Provides leadership to more junior colleagues on FAA concepts, strategies and tools
•    Supports new business, expansion and cross-selling activities
 

Qualifications


•    8+ years’ experience in actuarial services
•    Experience working with and overseeing actuarial models and tools
•    Knowledge of employer healthcare business
•    Proven ability to lead multiple clients/projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time and within budget
•    Comfort and ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances or demands, and helping team do the same
•    Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to guide work of more junior colleagues and provide feedback
•    Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
•    Actuarial credentials

Compensation and Benefits


Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

 

Compensation

 

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $120,000.00-$180, 000.00 USD annually.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
