Summary:

Within our Risk and Brokering  team, we are setting out to revolutionize the way the global Insurance market conducts its business today, to create more efficient ways of working and a better solution to placing risk, reducing costs and transforming the way we operate in the broker- insurer value chain.  WTW has a unique opportunity to deliver a service to the market that improves time and cost efficiency, revenue generation and accessibility to new markets across the value chain for both insurers and brokers. We will deliver this by building digital journeys that;

  • Optimise placement of risk

  • Provide the opportunity to access new markets and capital

  • Utilise data to understand and influence competitive pricing

  • Leverage the full suite of capabilities within WTW

  • Provide a service that delivers connectivity for brokers to insurers as well leverage the opportunity within the market through many to many connectivity (brokers and insurers) 

Working as part of a team to establish a new way of Digital Trading within the Global Insurance Industry, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Technology and your peers to support both the set up and subsequent rapid growth journey of a new part of WTW, winning new customers and expanding into new markets internationally. 

The Role:

  • Support the end-to-end implementation of digital trading solutions for commercial lines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Act as a key contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment throughout the implementation process.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and third party), ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.

  • Contribute to workshops to capture requirements, define solutions, and align delivery with client expectations.

  • Support the continuous improvement of delivery methods, tools, and frameworks.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and support post-implementation reviews to ensure ongoing success

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Experience supporting project delivery within consulting, technology, or client-facing roles 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).

  • Ability to understand and explain business and IT concepts.

  • Experience working collaboratively within teams and with stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with technologies such as MS SQL, Active Directory, SOAP/REST Web Services, .Net, Mulesoft, and Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is desirable.

  • Experience producing and reviewing project documentation.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM) are desirable but not essential.

  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly commercial and specialty lines, is an advantage.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and development.
