Role Summary
Operating within a regional structure, this highly collaborative role is responsible for leading the Bill to Cash (B2C) team within India, ensuring delivery of free cashflow and effective debt management for the CRB and H&B businesses.
The role holder will drive the standardisation of business processes and maximise adoption of the technology ecosystem to optimise cashflow and operational efficiency across the India market.
Liaises with offshore counterparts to ensure that B2C operations supporting India are delivering the expected level of service to the business and are compliant with relevant local regulatory, tax and technology‑system constraints
Ensures that B2C policies and process standards are consistently adhered to by both onshore and third-party teams supporting India.
Builds strong relationships and works cross-functionally with client-facing teams, Insurance company contacts, finance, and treasury within India to enhance overall business performance.
Key Accountabilities
- A key member of the Global Bill to Cash (B2C) team, accountable for developing the long-term strategy for the B2C function within India.
- Develops and manages the annual and long-term budgets for B2C operational expenses in India, in collaboration with the International & Western Europe B2C GSD Lead and Head of Bill to Cash APAC.
- Leads strategic planning for B2C operations in India, continuously transforming business-as-usual activities by identifying opportunities and building business cases for transitions, technology, and automation.
- Manages the B2C team in India by providing direction and support and resolving any escalations from local or third-party teams (If Applicable)
- Ensures B2C policies and process standards are adhered to across both onshore and third-party operations supporting India, driving consistency and implementing process improvements effectively.
- Establishes and monitors progress against key performance indicators to drive improved outcomes through the adoption of best practices, cascading these metrics appropriately within the country.
- Maintains robust financial, operational, quality, and regulatory control to ensure timely & accurate income accruals across LOBs.
Ensure control over accounts receivables (AR), AR reserves based on ageing & priority. - Ensures compliance with all internal and external legal and regulatory requirements, including SOX reporting obligations.
- Develops managers by setting clear expectations, conducting business reviews, and holding the team accountable for performance and success.
Maintains a strong focus on cashflow and efficiency by setting performance targets that ensure effective cash management and successful client outcomes. - Executes plans to upskill the workforce in line with WE DO, Enterprise Operations, and GSD talent strategies.
Maintains close collaboration with the business to deliver on key operational priorities. - Maintains a structured governance rhythm that ensures alignment across Finance, CRB, H&B and Business Operations for India B2C performance, priorities and escalations
- Establishes strong governance with Heads of LOBs & other corporate functions - & should be able to escalate in real-time (if need be) to Head of India and the CFO in case of any road-blocks, issues, or delays.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or related field (MBA preferred)
Potential Industry Qualifications (i.e., CPA, CFA, CMA)
Experience
- Minimum 8+ years in operations management, including some tenure in complex, multinational, multi-site environments
- Demonstrated experience leading a large workforce and managing global, high-volume finance operations delivery teams
- Experience in operations management, billing and accounting process training, quality assurance, intelligent automation, and implementation of operating models driving process standardisation
- Understanding of key finance and cash metrics and associated performance indicators
- Experience and knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Experience in regulated environments
- Knowledge of India insurance industry & basic understanding of IRDAI regulatory framework would be preferred
