Summary of the Position
As the CRB Market Leader for Ohio, you will be responsible for leading and growing the CRB business across the market, with a strong focus on achieving client retention, revenue growth and strategic business objectives for both Ohio and the broader Midwest region. This leadership role requires a balance of market-facing influence, operational execution and people leadership.
You will play a critical role in attracting, developing and retaining top talent to support the market’s continued success while fostering a high-performing culture aligned with regional and national priorities.
As a member of the Midwest CRB Leadership Team, you will collaborate with fellow leaders to shape strategy, drive cross-market initiatives, share best practices, and contribute to the overall growth and performance of the Midwest region.
The responsibilities outlined below encompass both the external leadership expectations required to drive client, prospect, and market success, as well as the internal leadership responsibilities necessary to build, develop, and inspire a high-performing Ohio CRB team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Ohio CRB business by aligning market strategy, execution, and accountability with Midwest regional priorities, while actively contributing as a member of the Midwest CRB Leadership Team.
- Drive profitable growth and market performance through client retention, new business development, portfolio diversification, market share expansion, and achievement of revenue and operating margin objectives.
- Champion a One WTW culture by fostering collaboration across businesses, geographies, and specialties, while supporting regional, North American, and global strategic initiatives.
- Develop and inspire high-performing teams through talent acquisition, coaching, succession planning, performance management, and colleague development to ensure long-term organizational success.
- Advance innovation and client value by leveraging analytics, technology, specialization, and deep client engagement to deliver differentiated solutions and enhance the client experience.
- Serve as WTW Willis’ market ambassador in Ohio, building strong relationships with clients, prospects, carriers, industry partners, and community stakeholders while promoting WTW's values, culture, and brand.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of experience
- Ability to influence key stakeholders (internal and external) via formal and informal channels, exhibiting strong followership
- One WTW mindset
- Experience in implementing a corporate mission and strategy
- Inclusive leader able to gain consensus amidst ambiguity
- Demonstrated success in client engagement and relationship management
- Demonstrated success in driving growth
- Proven ability to effectively lead through significant change
- Passion for and successful record of recruiting, engaging, developing, and retaining top talent
- Undergraduate degree required or equivalent experience
- Availability to travel on an as-needed basis
