About the International Team:
The International Business within WTW forms a core part of the firm’s Corporate Risk and Broking segment, providing global clients with integrated support across insurance placement, risk advisory, and operational services. Operating as a truly global function, the international business connects WTW’s extensive global capabilities with strong regional expertise across key markets such as Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
The International business supports the end‑to‑end insurance placement lifecycle for global clients, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across regions.
About the role:
The Placement and Billing team manages end‑to‑end pre‑placement compliance activities, ensuring all Know Your Customer and Sanctions Screening requirements are completed in line with regional regulatory standards. This includes reviewing client documentation, validating trade licenses, conducting due diligence checks, updating compliance worksheets, and coordinating with brokers and stakeholders to obtain additional requirements or approvals.
Alongside compliance responsibilities, the team also manages end‑to‑end billing operations, including invoice processing, query resolution, turnaround time monitoring, and ensuring the accuracy of billing data captured in monthly Management Information packs. Through strong governance, timely reviews, and effective coordination across teams, the Placement and Billing function supports compliant placements and efficient billing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Placement Compliance Support
- Review and validate client documentation to support compliance requirements prior to placement.
- Validate trade licenses and supporting documents for completeness, authenticity, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Perform due diligence checks and accurately document outcomes in compliance trackers and worksheets.
- Adhere to documented governance and control checks to ensure compliance activities are completed to required standards.
- Coordinate with brokers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing documentation, clarifications, or approvals.
- Escalate risks, issues, exceptions, and non‑compliance indicators in line with defined escalation procedures.
Billing Operations Support
- Process invoices accurately, ensuring billing information is complete, consistent, and aligned with agreed requirements.
- Investigate and resolve invoice‑related and billing queries through timely coordination with stakeholders.
- Monitor turnaround times and ensure tasks are completed within agreed service expectations.
- Perform quality checks to ensure billing accuracy and data integrity.
- Support the preparation and accuracy of monthly management reporting packs by validating billing data used for reporting purposes.
Service Delivery, Controls, and Continuous Improvement
- Deliver work in line with defined key performance indicators, quality standards, and service level expectations.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in work trackers and time‑recording tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and applicable external regulatory guidelines.
- Identify processing errors, exceptions, or control breaches and report them promptly to the relevant manager.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending practical solutions.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clear, professional updates regarding task status, requirements, and timelines.
- Participate actively in team huddles and operational meetings.
- Support the implementation of process changes, system enhancements, and transition activities as required.
Qualifications
- Graduation
Skills
- Use of clear business English to enable effective verbal and written

- Achieve results through a clear understanding of escalation procedure and effective business communications channels.
- Awareness of insurance industry concepts and basic accounting principles.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail to identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyze and suggest solutions to improve metrics and client service
