Description
Join us as a Policy Manager in our Trade Credit & Surety team, where you will lead the end-to-end management of a client portfolio, delivering high-quality, compliant and commercially focused policy and relationship management for a diverse range of clients.
The successful candidate will act as a key client contact, building strong relationships, understanding client risk management needs, and ensuring timely delivery of renewals, policy amendments, and new business activity. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams and markets, accurate system and data management, and active oversight of client pricing to meet agreed profitability targets.
The Role
- Manage and retain a portfolio of clients, delivering consistent, high-quality ongoing service.
- Lead the end-to-end client service lifecycle, adherence to agreed service standards, policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers, as a trusted advisor.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and risk needs, identifying appropriate solutions through ongoing service.
- Oversee client pricing and commercial performance, ensuring alignment with agreed profitability targets.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all policy documentation, including renewals and mid-term amendments.
- Maintain strict compliance with regulatory, group and governance requirements, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
- Trade Credit Insurance Experience / Surety experience.
- Previous experience working for an insurer or broker.
- CIP qualified or significant progress to achievement of CIP.
- Excellent client advocate.
- Driven, proactive and flexible.
- Capable of solving problems.
- Good interpersonal, organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- Highly accurate with good attention to detail in completion of all tasks.
- Passion for learning and understanding the Trade Credit Insurance industry.
