About the role
We are seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented Proposal Specialist to partner with the Bid Team in FINEX Great Britain (GB), comprising the Senior Director of Bid Management and the Senior Graphic Designer. In this high‑visibility role, you will collaborate across key FINEX practices, predominantly Financial Institutions, Cyber, D&O and Professional Indemnity, while project managing Request for Proposals (RFPs) end‑to‑end, uplifting proposal content quality, driving adoption of technologies, and contributing to continuous improvement of FINEX sales and bid processes.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in proposals/bids or pursuit management within professional or financial services; adept at coordinating complex, multi‑stakeholder responses under time pressure.
Strong project management, planning and facilitation skills; comfortable setting structure, timelines and accountability.
Stakeholder savvy and collaboration: confidently engaging senior colleagues and cross- specialist teams.
Fluency with collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint) and enthusiasm for process and technology improvement in proposal environments.
Personal qualities: conscientious, proactive, detail‑oriented, organised, curious, and resilient; a supportive team player who constructively challenges for better outcomes.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Sales pipeline enablement for FINEX practices
Attend pre‑tender meetings to capture business context, decision drivers and success criteria.
Research and prepare concise briefing papers (company profile, business model, peer set, industry dynamics) to inform pursuit strategy.
On select opportunities, project manage the sales cycle from initial engagement through to close, orchestrating milestones, owners and decision checkpoints.

Improve ways‑of‑working by maintaining and evolving the FINEX Bid/Proposal resources, significantly the FINEX Sales Hub.
Proposal Management and Development
Responsible for the end-to-end proposal process on FINEX RFPs, scheduling, capturing the storyboard, content curation as directed, compliance checks and reviews, ensuring on-time, client‑centric, professionally grounded outputs.
Collaborate with FINEX GB Graphic Designer, to bring creativity and fresh thinking to how we present concepts, proposals and Executive Summaries, and potential use of alternative technology, e.g. Turtl
Build strong relationships with FINEX colleagues, subject matter experts, and wider WTW enterprise teams to ensure timely, high-quality responses.

Ensure alignment with CRB standards for messaging, design, and compliance.
Operational excellence and process improvements
Maintain and improve the FINEX Bid Management/Sales Hub space so colleagues can quickly find guidance, templates and exemplars.
Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Co-pilot (building of agents), Loopio, Centralised Content Repository, and other AI tools.
Facilitate tech adoption on Request for proposal (RFP) development through training, support, and personal use as a lead contributor.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree a must
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or another related field desired
- APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in proposal management or sales operations, preferably in a global delivery or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex proposals independently.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience with tools like Turtl, Loopio, Proposal Central, and AI content platforms such as Co-pilot.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the insurance or broking industry, especially CRB.
- Strong content writing/editing skills and understanding of proposal best practices.
- Ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced environment with global teams.
Communication
- Excellent communication skills along with strong writing and editing skills required.
- Tenacity for following up with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to network with entire Willis Towers Watson organization and get things done by building bridges.
