Description

The Role

The candidate primarily will assist the Head of Claims in the managing and timely delivery of WTW CRB claim services.

  • Support the Head of Claims in the day-to-day management and handling of motor and non-motor claims.

  • Contribute to and enhance the evolving claims expertise including policy wording interpretation, claims negotiation, data and claims analytics, and the application of practical claims experience.

     

  • Delivery consistent and proactive claim services to manage and meet clients' expectations including the thorough review of loss information submissions, monitoring the completeness of supporting documentation, arranging periodic updates with loss adjusters, insurance carriers, etc. and proper management of process timelines to achieve timely claim settlements.

  • Facilitate the delivery of internal assistance and preparation of claims statistical data as required by the business

  • Manage day-to-day coordination, meetings, and discussions with various claim stakeholders e.g. account officers, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Insureds, insurance companies, loss adjusters, etc. as necessary.

  • Undertake assigned tasks as required by the business and/or clients (e.g. creation and maintenance of the CRB Claims Database Registry, Claim Documents Depository, Client Claims Bordereau, Insurers Claims Directory, Adjusters and Surveyors Directory, etc.)

  • Identify revenue opportunities and collaborate with the Head of Claims and Sales colleagues to increase the probability of successfully securing ancillary claims advisory services among other WTW services

  • Actively participate in personal development programs and courses offered through internal and external resources that primarily uplifts the necessary skills and capabilities to perform the assigned role

  • Ensure compliance with WTW best practices and Insurance Commission regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • College Degree Graduate

  • Preferably with at least 2 years of non-life claims handling experience from an insurance or brokerage company

  • Good computer proficiency 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Effective presentation skills 

  • Good negotiation skills 

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
