About the team

The FINEX team is responsible for Financial Lines solutions, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenue for the company. The team focuses on identifying growth opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored financial line solutions to meet market needs. With a proactive and strategic approach, the team drives business expansion and supports the organization’s long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective corporate clients.
  • Achieve revenue/brokerage targets as defined by management.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell, 
  • Participate in client pitches, presentations, and negotiations with insurers.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for allocated accounts.
  • Understand client risk exposures and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Lead renewal discussions and ensure competitive placement terms.
  • Maintain long-term strategic relationships with CXOs, Risk Managers, and Finance Heads.

3. Insurer & Market Coordination

  • Liaise with insurance companies for quotes, negotiations, and policy issuance.
  • Structure optimal insurance programs with competitive pricing and coverage.
  • Stay updated on market trends, underwriting appetite, and regulatory changes.

4. Claims & Servicing Oversight

  • Support clients during claim intimation and settlement.
  • Coordinate with claims team and insurers for timely resolution.
  • Ensure high service standards and turnaround times.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (IRDAI regulations).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and CRM updates.
  • Support internal audits and compliance processes.

 

6. Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior executives / account managers.
  • Work closely with placement, claims, and operations teams.
  • Contribute to branch strategy and revenue planning.

 

KPIs

  • Annual brokerage/revenue targets.
  • Client retention ratio.
  • New business acquisition.
  • Cross-sell penetration.
  • Client satisfaction metrics.
  • Claims resolution efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Liability Insurance Products
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Commercial acumen and revenue orientation.
  • Executive presence and client-facing confidence.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • 8–10 years of experience in insurance broking or general insurance. (liability insurance lines preferred )
  • Proven track record of managing corporate clients.
  • Experience handling mid-to-large ticket accounts preferred.
