Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead a business-critical transformation initiative across ANZ. This role is suited to a hands-on delivery leader with a strong understanding of general insurance, including placement and renewal processes, and a proven track record of implementing mission-critical applications that support and enhance placement strategy.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment, able to drive delivery at speed without compromising quality, and confident managing senior stakeholders across business, technology, and external delivery partners.

This role is responsible for end-to-end project management working closely with both local and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the project, including scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, risks, and dependencies
  • Lead delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between business outcomes, placement strategy, technology implementation, and vendor delivery
  • Facilitate planning and delivery workshops, supporting the definition, review, and refinement of placement and renewal-related business processes as part of the transformation
  • Manage relationships with Global IT and technical teams (London and Mumbai) and external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring clear accountability and delivery alignment
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners, to deliver agreed milestones and outcomes
  • Establish and maintain fit-for-purpose project governance and documentation, enabling effective oversight, decision-making, and assurance
  • Implement and operate robust project controls, including integrated risk, issue, dependency, and contingency management, supported by clear and concise status reporting
  • Proactively identify and address emerging delivery risks and issues, providing practical recommendations to maintain momentum and delivery confidence
  • Prepare and present high-level updates, insights, and decision papers for Steering Committees and senior leadership across business, technology, and vendor streams

  • Demonstrated capability in managing vendors and partners to contract, milestones, and outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders across business, technology, and vendors
  • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, balancing speed, quality, and control
  • Strong analytical, planning, and dependency management skills, with confidence navigating ambiguity and complexity
  • Experience working with global delivery models and distributed teams
