Description

Market Leader is broadly responsible for Recruiting, Client Relationships, Growth, Community Building and Brand Building (internal and external). He/She will work with multiple stakeholders including Industry, Segment and Alternative Leaders, Broking Teams and the broader CRB community to align and grow our business. He/She will drive the overall strategy, value proposition, talent acquisition and development to achieve revenue growth, client retention and profitability.

The Role

Recruiting

Work closely with Industry and Segment leaders to identify and pursue potential talent and M&A acquisition candidates.

Recruit revenue generating talent

Client Relationships

Providing coaching/mentoring on key client/prospect pursuits in the market

Participating in key client Client Satisfaction meetings

Drive alignment between producers, broking, client service, ops, client teams and the specialty division  to ensure approach to delivering the best client experience

 

Growth 

Drive growth and client retention  for the regional P&L

Manages market pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with Lead Lead Relationship managers, Sales Operations, and Industry leaders

Develop data-informed business plans focused on aligning opportunity with resource

Coordinate cross-industry sales verticals and opportunities with segment and industry leaders and Lead Relationship Managers where appropriate

Identify M&A opportunities within your markets that may fit WTW’s strategy and culture

Develop and launch sales campaigns – both broadly and more targeted product and industry development/event-based immediate opportunity plans

Attract and retain Top Talent

 

Brand & Community Building 

In partnership with other local leaders and people managers, responsible for colleague engagement, culture and community in the market, including role-modelling

Connect resources across WTW to ensure innovation and collaboration to provide top talent and insights to clients (e.g., M&A, Risk & Analytics, Captives, Broking, other Industries, etc.)

Qualifications

The Requirements

Qualifications: 

·       Preferably educated to a degree or MBA level

·       Preferably with professional qualifications 

·       Track record of building and growing business in a market or sector

·       Experience recruiting revenue producing talent

·       Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance brokerage sector 

·       Has an established brand in the industry sector and possesses the ability to act as the brand for the Company 

·       Preferably with experience in establishing and driving pipeline management protocols

Skills: 

·       High level of business and financial acumen

·       Excellent project management skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communications

·       Inclusive leader able to gain consensus amidst ambiguity

·       Highly collaborative with the ability to influence in a matrix environment 

·       Leverages emotional Intelligence to influence performance and outcomes

·       Possesses strong interpersonal skills including approachability, self-knowledge, customer focus, composure and listening

·       Ability to operate both as a high level as strategic thinker, but can also engage as part of a team to develop and deliver work product

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
