Summary of Role
The Sales Solution Architect plays a critical role in driving the sales process for WTW’s Via Benefits solutions, focused primarily on Via Benefits Accounts, a spending account administration solution. This is a full-time role within and supporting the Individual Marketplace Sales team. The Sales Solution Architect is responsible for proposal development, pricing, contracting, and eventually closing. You will also play a key role in our client renewals. To succeed in this role, you will need to collaborate effectively with sales leaders, client account leaders, product teams, and other specialists to design and present solutions that align with client objectives and organizational capabilities. As needed, you will participate in meetings with prospects and clients and demo Via Benefits products. This is a highly visible role with an opportunity to significantly contribute to Individual Marketplace revenue growth by effectively managing key aspects of the sales process.

The Role
Manage elements of the Individual Marketplace sales process including:
- Working with sales leaders to identify and qualify prospective clients
- Reviewing and evaluating client benefit plan design and administration requirements
- Determining the appropriate solution and scope
- Responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Working with sales leaders on non-RFP prospects and proposals
- Working with the sales and delivery team to prepare for prospect and client meetings
- Supporting development and maintenance of proposal answers, assumptions and other proposal collateral, as needed
- Supporting development of contract documents
- Work with client account leaders to create opportunities to introduce Via Benefits solutions with clients
- Stay up to date on the latest developments in spending account administration as well as Individual Marketplace model
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Four or more years' experience with spending account administration. Preference for experience with the Benefits solution.
- Working knowledge of various accounts and benefits including Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Lifestyle Accounts (LSAs), commuter benefits, and tuition reimbursement plans.
- Polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong organization skills and an ability to prioritize and direct many competing projects
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Ability to travel as needed
- Proven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with team members within the Individual Marketplace business and in other lines of business and at all levels
- An undergraduate degree is preferred

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $ 80,000.00 to $ 120,000.00 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for compensation plan with commission-based bonuses.
