Description

Join us as a Business Readiness Lead and play a pivotal role in bringing strategic change to life within our Outsourcing GB business.

This role partners closely with diverse stakeholders to align people, processes, and operations, enabling a smooth transition from project delivery into business‑as‑usual (BAU). With a strong focus on people‑centred and inclusive leadership, the role supports teams through change by fostering collaboration, open communication, and shared accountability—ensuring change is understood, embraced, and sustainably embedded across the business.

The Role

  • Lead Business Readiness Strategy: Develop and execute readiness plans for strategic change projects, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth handover to operational teams
  • Governance & Risk Management: Act as custodian of the go/no-go framework for major deployments, actively identify operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers, operational leads, and executive sponsors to align readiness activities with organisational priorities
  • Testing & Transition: Oversee end-to-end testing readiness, coordinate transition plans, and ensure operational acceptance criteria are met, through collaboration with existing SMEs to ensure the testing approach is relevant and adapted to meet needs of scheme specific nuances
  • Communication & Training:  Define and implement communication strategies, training plans, and rollout activities for large-scale change programmes
  • Performance Tracking:  Monitor readiness KPIs, report progress to leadership, and maintain documentation such as readiness assessments and go-live checklists

At WTW, we trust you to know your work and the people, tools and environment you need to be successful. The majority of our colleagues work in a ”hybrid”(#LI-Hybrid) style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in office interactions dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients. Our flexibility is rooted in trust and “hybrid” is not a one-size-fits-all solution. We understand flexibility is key to supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce and so we encourage requests for all types of flexible working as well as location-based arrangements.
