  • Regional Execution: Develop and execute a state strategy aligned to national Corporate priorities, with a particular focus on client service excellence and people development.

  • Accretive Growth: Drive quality, margin-accretive growth, prioritising complex, differentiated opportunities over volume.
  • Advisory-Led Engagement: Ensure the State moves beyond transactional broking toward advisory-led engagement, integrating risk engineering, analytics, and claims advocacy into client conversations.
  • Strategic Participation: Personally participate in major pitches, renewals, and strategic client discussions

Sales, Pipeline & Market Discipline

  • Pipeline Ownership: Own the WA Corporate sales pipeline, ensuring robust qualification, sufficient coverage by sector, and disciplined conversion management.
  • Win Rate Optimization: Work closely with Sales & Strategy leadership to improve win rates, share of wallet, and cross-sell penetration.
  • Protocol Enforcement: Enforce consistent use of global and national sales and client ownership protocols.

People, Talent & Culture

  • Leadership Development: Build and lead a high-performing WA Corporate leadership team, developing depth across priority sectors.
  • Succession Planning: Identify critical roles and succession gaps, and work with leadership to address them.
  • Collaboration & Culture: Champion a collaborative culture, promoting cross-functional teamwork across regions and specialties.
  • Mentorship: Act as a visible leader, coach, and role model for the Western Australia business.

Global Integration & Governance

  • Adherence to Protocols: Ensure disciplined adherence to broking, placement, and market-access protocols.
  • Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Global Placement, Claims, Risk Engineering, and relevant specialty leadership.
  • Governance Representation: Represent the WA region within the broader leadership executive, contributing to wider decision-making and strategy.
