Description

As the North America Mid-Market Global Benefits Practice Leader, you will lead WTW’s team of Global Benefits and Rewards Consultants focused on driving growth and retention among mid-market clients through distinctive solutions designed for emerging multinationals. The practice sits within H&B’s Strategy and Specialties organization and partners closely with H&B client teams across North America.

Together with domestic H&B client teams, the practice delivers a complementary, holistic and globally integrated solution set, including Global Benefits Management (GBM). Its consultants bring global expertise to the design and execution of clients’ total rewards and benefits strategies, drawing on WTW’s global infrastructure, wholly owned network, solutions and resources. The practice sets the strategic direction for helping multinational organizations develop and execute sustainable global benefits strategies.

The Role

This role combines North America practice leadership, global consulting, commercial growth and oversight of client delivery. You will own the practice’s revenue growth, profitability, pipeline, retention and market penetration while leading and contributing to initiatives that strengthen delivery and execution. You will serve as a leading voice on global market developments and WTW’s evolving value propositions, mobilize the right team to qualify and pursue opportunities with H&B Producers and Market Leaders, and align practice priorities with broader H&B strategy and reporting requirements. You will also oversee staffing, colleague development, market engagement and the continued development of scalable, repeatable solutions for mid-market clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership – Set the vision, priorities and growth strategy for the Global Consulting team; translate H&B and global business objectives into clear team goals, accountabilities and operating rhythms.

  • Sales & Growth – Own the practice’s multi-year pipeline, revenue, profitability and market penetration targets. Personally lead and close complex new-logo and expansion opportunities, coach consultants to do the same, and leverage relationships across WTW to accelerate growth.
  • Delivery – Serve as executive sponsor and lead consultant on the most complex, multi-country engagements, guiding local benefits and brokerage teams in executing each client’s strategy in a locally relevant manner. Ensure delivery meets agreed objectives, budgets, timelines and quality standards while balancing customization with efficiency and speed to market.
  • Retention – Ensure strong client satisfaction and retention across the team’s book of business; serve as the escalation point for key client issues.

  • People – Build, develop and retain a high-performing team. Manage staffing and expertly assign talent to client assignments in ways that foster client confidence; lead performance management, career development and succession planning; identify and develop future talent.

  • Market Presence – Represent WTW through conference appearances, thought leadership, client roundtables and other industry forums, building a strong market reputation for the practice.
  • Innovation – Lead the development and advancement of scalable global solutions, tools, intellectual capital and strategic partnerships that improve client value, market differentiation, delivery efficiency and business growth, including the thoughtful use of AI and automation.
  • Collaboration – Collaborate with H&B market and region leaders, sales leaders, Client Service Teams (CST), Communities of Expertise, IGS geography and solution leaders, and the Global Delivery Center to ensure optimal use of WTW resources and coordinated go-to-market efforts.

  • Change Leadership – Lead the team through transformative change, align the practice with evolving organizational priorities, and model WTW’s leadership principles and values.
