MI reporting - Technical leader (Python)

Key Responsibilities 

• Help define/improvise actionable and decision driving management information

• Ensure streamlining, consistency and standardization of MI within the handled domain

• Build and operate flexible processes/reports that meet changing business needs

• Would be required to prepare the detailed documentation of schemas

• Any other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility

  Desired Profile 

• Python (Backend & Front end)

• Proficient in Django: models, ORM, views, templates, signals, middleware, authentication, admin customization, and connectivity to MS SQL database
• Experienced with Django REST Framework (DRF) for building RESTful APIs
• Implements security best practices: CSRF protection, input validation, secure authentication, and familiarity with Celery and Redis for background task management
• Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript: async/await, promises, closures, prototypes, modules and skilled in DOM manipulation, event handling, and browser APIs
• Proficient in AJAX, Fetch API, and JSON data handling and build secure, interactive UIs that integrate with Django REST APIs
• Expert in HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design along with Bootstrap 4/5 for mobile-first development and custom component styling
• Hands on experience on SQL
• Excellent understanding in developing stored procedures, functions, views and T-SQL programs
• Developed and maintained ETL (Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading) mappings using SSIS to extract the data from multiple source systems
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Good to have exposure on Power Platform, Power BI & VBA technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create and design MI for the team
• Expected to handle multiple projects, with stringent timelines
• Prior experience in insurance companies/insurance sector would be an added advantage
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to documentation activities

Education:                               BTech/BE/MCA/B.Com from reputed College/Institute

Experience:                             7+ years of experience

• Collaborate with Internal and External stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope
• Guide the MI team through the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices and identify & resolve performance, scalability, and any reliability issues
• Can learn new skills and knowledge, as per business requirement
