Description
The Account Executive – Employee Relations is a newly created role designed to support the growth of the Employee Relations (ER) practice and delivery of high-quality human resources, employee relations, and industrial relations services to WTW clients.
Reporting to the Employee Relations Services Lead, the primary focus of this role will be to provide an innovative and flexible approach to support the continued growth and integration of ER services within the broader portfolio of Workplace Risk solutions. Working alongside the wider Workplace Risk team, the role will provide support for all aspects of ER service delivery, including providing support and guidance on ER matters, project management, and business development.
The Role
- Support and manage the delivery of high-quality human resources, employee, and industrial relations services to clients
- Assist with the provision of guidance and resources to clients on employee relations matters, including performance management, medical capacity cases, terminations, grievances and compliance with employment legislation
- Develop and draft case management documentation to enhance the ER precedent library and support effective ER case management for client issues
- Coordinate ER projects and service delivery, ensuring timely support and guidance
- Provide support for WTW Pay Comply service development and delivery, including cross-functional collaboration with relevant WTW teams such as Retirement, Health & Benefits, and Integrated & Global Solutions
- Assist in planning and coordinating ER events, workshops and webinars, including through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain client data, ensuring accuracy of record-keeping and tracking of employee relations queries and cases
- Assist in the production of reports for clients, including gathering data and developing insights on workplace risk trends and employee relations issues
- Prepare project documentation, including timelines, reports and presentations
- Identify opportunities for expanding client services, learning to analyse client needs and recommend tailored ER and workplace risk solutions
- Conduct research and share insights on emerging trends in employee relations, workplace risk and legislative changes, and assess their impact on client workplace risk strategies
- Partner with members of the wider Workplace Risk team, and other relevant teams, including in workers’ compensation and health, safety and wellbeing, to deliver integrated consulting solutions to clients
- Adhere to compliance and business processes, ensuring all services are delivered in line with company policies and standards
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team
- Previous experience in a workplace risk role or similar (workers’ compensation, WHS, HR or ER preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships across teams and with clients
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and support senior team members in delivering workplace risk solutions
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in HR, employee and industrial relations
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, workers’ compensation schemes and workplace safety requirements
