WTW has an enterprise-wide, global service offering with “client ready” teams of experienced Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) practitioners. Our goal is to fully leverage the considerable number of M&A engagements within other segments of the company into broader, cross-segment due diligence and integration projects, as well as divestitures, spin-offs and joint ventures. To achieve this goal, our M&A team consists of consultants with various backgrounds and experiences to best serve our clients. They not only respond to market demand but will create new demand in the market through their thought leadership and industry experience.

The Role: 

 

As a HR Mergers and Acquisitions Senior Analyst you will work as part of a team to provide consulting advice and services to multinational companies concerning HR and people-related issues during corporate transactions. You will serve as a key resource for consultants in charge of engagements by performing many intricate aspects of their client work. 

 

Performance Objectives: 

Excellence

 

  • Serve as a resource and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection, analyses, and project execution required for special projects including mergers and acquisitions, benefit plan strategy and design, plan management and governance strategy, and global financing and funding policies

  • Prepare the first draft of deliverables for review by the consultant 

  • Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities

  • Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches, including monitoring and analyzing economic conditions in major markets around the world and updating country profiles 

 

People

  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional and global teams

  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

 

Clients

  • Deliver work in accordance to project deadlines 

  • Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations

  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

  • Serve as a resource to the project manager which could include:

  • Assisting in the development of project plans
  • Monitoring progress to deadlines and budget
  • Scheduling and managing weekly/bi-weekly status meeting calls
  • Ensuring appropriate and effective communication among team members and the client

 

Financial

  • Meet chargeable hours targets 

  • Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals and responding to RFPs

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • 2+ years  of experience working on corporate transactions/global HR benefit programs, ideally in a client service oriented environment;      alternatively, experience working on domestic benefits or compensation programs and a demonstrated interest in international issues.  Experience working  with HR issues in Corporate Transactions preferred. 
  • Well organized and detail oriented

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate
  • Ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
  • Self starter; interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one’s comfort zone
  • Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one’s work fits into the broader landscape
  • Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Experience living and working overseas and foreign language skills preferred 

 

Compensation and Benefits 

Benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation 

The salary compensation range being offered for this role is $80,000 to $100,000.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
