Software Engineer (.NET and ReactJS)

The Role

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable software solutions
• Collaborate with product owners and team members to refine stories and identify the correct test strategy
• Design and implement automated tests to maximize regression coverage
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the quality methodology to sustain and enhance ongoing product quality
• Write clear, maintainable technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint ceremonies
• Mentor junior team members and be open to feedback to continuously grow and improve

The Requirements

• 5-8 years development experience.
• Proficient experience using .NET, C#, MVC, ASP.NET, Web API, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Skilled in using Selenium for automated web testing, including writing and maintaining test scripts
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular JS and Amber.
• Degree (Associates or Bachelors) in computer science, management information systems or related area
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum framework and Kanban preferred
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment that has tight deadlines.
• Ability to learn and evaluate new tools, concepts, and challenges quickly.
• Customer service focus and flexibility in supporting customer requests.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be available, at times, to work extended work hours.
• Background in benefits administration a plus.
