We are looking for motivated and client-focused professional to join our international insurance broking office in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a globally connected team, working with multinational insurers and sophisticated corporate clients across a wide range of industries. In this role, you will play a key part in negotiating competitive insurance terms, placing risks in international markets, and delivering high-quality advisory and servicing support to clients. You will collaborate with colleagues across global broking, analytics, and placement teams to develop tailored risk transfer solutions that meet clients’ evolving needs. The Role:

  • Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned corporate clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of broking and advisory support

  • Negotiate insurance terms, conditions, and pricing with local and international insurers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients

  • Prepare placement submissions, marketing presentations, and renewal documentation for international markets

  • Coordinate the placement of risks with global broking teams and overseas markets, including London and European hubs

  • Support the design and implementation of risk transfer strategies tailored to client needs and risk profiles

  • Maintain strong relationships with insurers, clients, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and execution

  • Monitor policy documentation, endorsements, and contract accuracy throughout the policy lifecycle

  • Identify opportunities to enhance client value, improve coverage, and support business development initiatives

Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and professional standards

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Experience in insurance, reinsurance, broking, underwriting, or corporate risk management is preferred

  • Understanding of commercial insurance products and placement processes; international market exposure is an advantage

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams

  • Professional proficiency in English and Russian; additional languages are a plus

  • Proactive mindset, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality client service
