Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Account Executive to work alongside our team and gain an understanding of the four Specie / Fine Art risk codes, including wordings and proposal forms. The role involves becoming familiar with internal systems such as the Broking Platform and CRM, learning our placing strategy and how placing vehicles operate together, supporting allocated renewals (initially in shadow), getting introduced to core markets and Line Slip Leaders, and participating in regular team meetings covering renewals, line slip numbers, new business, and team updates.

 

The Role:

  • Work closely with existing team members to develop a strong understanding of the four risk codes within Specie / Fine Art, including policy wordings and proposal forms.

  • Gain familiarity with internal systems such as the Broking Platform, CRM, and other operational tools used within the team.

  • Develop an understanding of the team’s placing strategy and how different placing vehicles operate both independently and together.

  • Build relationships with and gain exposure to core markets and Line Slip Leaders.

  • Support the team with allocated renewal cases, initially shadowing senior team members and gradually taking ownership.

  • Participate in regular team meetings to review renewals, line slip performance, new business opportunities, and other team updates.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Basic understanding or interest in Specie / Fine Art insurance or specialty insurance lines.
  • Ability to quickly learn technical concepts such as risk codes, policy wordings, and proposal documentation.
  • Strong willingness to learn internal systems, processes, and broking platforms.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and market partners.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage renewal timelines and tasks.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative while working under guidance from senior team members.
  • Attention to detail when handling documentation, data, and client information.
